Suzy and Faro then ate breakfast in the eatery near the North Gate.
I quite like this eatery, it’s quieter than I thought since I know breakfast is the busiest time, I guess I didn’t take into consideration that people would rather not eat them to have more time to rest.
Suzy said while eating her breakfast.
We would rather just wake up, take a bath, and go to work, I’ve done that many times, but since it’s your treat, I will do so every time.
Faro responded while eating his breakfast as well.
*munch* Hmm, I guess you all have the tendency to work your butt off to the bone, I’ve seen it happen, I met the Gate guard the other day, and when I left to the Zion Village, do some things there, and head back here at almost midnight, I saw him and he said that he’s been working since one of the guard substitutes is sick, Thespians are all hard workers, really.
Suzy told him about the other night’s occurrence with the Gate guard.
*crunch* Huh? I don’t know that since I’m focused on the North, speaking of North, I’m going to have a training session with the warriors there later since I’m a little energetic today.
Faro said, excitedly.
I’m sure you are, let’s finish our breakfast and head to the North.
Suzy said, agreeing to his words as she tells him to eat quicker.
Anyway, what am I for you? After that night we spent, I meant, because I don’t want to have any misunderstanding with you, especially since you are one of the most known figures in the Country, I don’t want any trouble on my end as well.
Faro asked Suzy a sensitive question, yet he tried to clarify them very reasonably.
How about a close friend? One I can be comfortable with, I’ve never really had anyone like this, so let’s try not to move so quickly.
Suzy asked, suggesting him.
A friend would’ve sufficed, but I guess I’ll take it, nothing better than being close with an unofficially official Heroine.
Faro said, accepting her suggestion.
A few minutes have passed and they’ve finished their breakfast, they then headed to the North Gate to go to their work.
Suzy headed to the training section with the Shield users again to train them again, and Faro did a training session with the other swordsmen of the North Gate.
A week has passed after that, Suzy and Faro’s relationship remained as close friends as Suzy said, they eat dinner now and then and sleep together now and then as well since Suzy said that they should just see each other every other day instead of every day.
And when the day of their defending arrived…
Madam Suzy, are your sessions of training have ended?
Faro asked her.
They are, I have nothing else to add in their training apart from resting before the fight, which is clearly today, but I told them to meditate their defenses as well, how about Commander Faro’s training with the swordsmen, is it hell?
Suzy replied to Faro’s question and then asked him back.
It is hell, but at least it doesn’t burn me, it just means I can deal with many of them at once since I could; I tried it the first time.
Faro said.
They decided to call each other with honorifics when working since when they call each other by their name at work, they tend to slip up, and they realize this 2 days after they met.
And after a few minutes of talking, they saw the warriors from the Seven Ancient Villages marching towards the Theist Country.
They’re here, the Auden Village.
Suzy said.
My home’s warriors are attacking the country I now serve.
Faro thought.
Okay! All warriors ready!!!
He shouted, ordering all the warriors to form in their positions.
The Shield users, the Spearmen, the Swordsmen, and the other rangers and assists at the back headed to the battlefield to prepare.
Because Faro has looked up to Suzy for many years now, he uses an unsupervised Spear as a Swordsman since he also wants to use more than one weapon, hence why he headed to the front of the battlefield, behind the Shield users.
Suzy heads to the rangers and support area to help them out, to not just quicken and lighten their load, but also lift their spirits.
She’s helping us here instead of helping in front.
That means when someone from our enemy attacked us.
We don’t need to be defenseless, even though we rangers are here, we still can’t defend against them since we are just rangers.
We are born to use a bow, not any close quarter’s weapons.
Be ready with your bows, rangers! You have your own task at hand!
Suzy told the rangers.
Yes, Madam Suzy!
We will inform you that you should prepare for the worst!!! We will not hold back!!!
Faro shouted, telling the Auden’s Head who is in front of their warriors as well.
I know, Faro, I’m sorry, Commander Faro, I always forget that, I know how dedicated you are, we will not hold back as well, and as always, as your guardian before all this, I offer you to surrender, I don’t want you to bear any trouble, here and in the future.
The Auden’s Head responded, offering to Faro afterward.
Whichever section of the Country survives and wins in this battle will be the ones that will attack the Seven Ancient Villages afterward, the ones that didn’t survive or have surrendered will have to stay in the Country and wait for the Gallant Battle to end.
This is counteracting to Zao Thesis’s morals, which is to continue fighting, which is the best punishment for those that surrendered and lost in the defending since they only have to defend the Country, which is an easy task, at least for those sections that have the advantage, like the North Continent at the moment.
Suzy has been switching through many sections of the Theist Country since she doesn’t want to stick to one, to balance the support.
Shields! Spearmen! Prepare for the worst as well!
Faro told their warriors.
Yes, Commander!
Auden! Attack!!!
The Auden’s Head shouted, ordering their warriors.
The battle in the North has then begun, of course, at the same time, the Gallant Battle, defend of the Theist Country has begun and all the Seven Ancient Villages have started their attack at the Theist Country.
For the Seven Ancient Villages to win, they have to get the Theist Country to surrender or be defeated in their attack so that they don’t have to deal with the Theist Country attacking them.
The front warriors are slowly moving forward since they need to stay in that position in order for Suzy's strategy to work as flawlessly as it can.
Brace for impact! Shield users! March!
Faro shouted, ordering the Shield users.
They then dashed forward to not just reduce their impact against them, but also help the Spearmen to attack better.
Rangers! They have clashed! Get your bows and ready aim them!
Suzy told the rangers at the back.
The rangers then took their bows; Suzy finished what she’s doing at the back with the support and also took her bow out.
She then aimed her bow with the other rangers.
You already know how to aim, so follow my lead, we will aim at the backlines of the enemy, they will need more time to recover their lost warriors at the front if arrows are raining.
Suzy told the rangers.
Yes, Madam Suzy!
Ready! Fire!
Suzy indicated and first fired at the sky.
Arrows!
The Auden’s Head shouted, warning their warriors.
*shoot*
Many arrows then rained down at the Auden warriors, but that didn’t stop their march.
Hookers! Now!
The Auden’s Head shouted, ordering them to begin.
Several of the warriors, Swordsmen, Spearmen and Shield users then switched out from their weapons to their Hook weapons to jump over the Theist warriors.
Some of them were caught and killed by the Spearmen, but most of them jumped past, so the Swordsmen of the Theist Country will have to deal with them.
Swordsmen! Kill them!
Faro shouted.
Deal with them! I’ll guard the rangers and the supports, Swordsmen.
Suzy shouted as she took her weapons and used them to fight the ones that flew past the front warriors and as well as the Swordsmen since they jumped too high.
Suzy is allowed to use her multiple weapons at once outside of the Theist Country, so the way she trained herself with them is that she stayed at the Zion Village every time she needs to train them, though she managed to train less with many weapons at once, she’s still able to implement her training in the Theist Country onto her training in the Zion Village because she has already mastered those weapons before.
Suzy then used her Weapon Manipulation magic and fought the ones that passed over others and went straight to their backlines, and killed all of them.
To further her mocking of their skills, she is not afraid to fight them all at once by controlling her weapons and fighting them one by one with them, and since she has 10 weapons, she is not afraid to use all of them.
She’s mocking us!
I don’t know how to defeat a flying weapon fighting me!
I have to kill her quickly before she finishes us all; I’m the one fighting her, so I have all the chances!
The jumpers and flying warriors are struggling to fight her, which makes matter worse for the Auden warriors, Suzy chose to fight the one who she knows is weaker than her.
And easily killed them all…
They are not having a hard time so they don’t need my help yet.
Suzy thought after killing all of the jumpers and flying warriors.
She then called in all her weapons afterward.
She’s giving us trouble.
The Auden’s Head said.
Head, here is your spear.
Thank you, I really needed it.
The Auden’s Head said after taking the spear from his warrior after he offered it.
He then aimed his spear in the middle and threw it as hard as he could.
*swoosh*
Nobody knows, not even Faro knows, that the Auden’s Head has been using spear this whole time, even though he has trained Faro before with sword.
I need that lady to die.
The Auden’s Head thought after he threw the spear.
His spear then pierced through a Shield user’s Shield, killed him and all of the warriors behind him.
What!?
Faro thought after seeing it fly across him.
Eventually, it reached Suzy, but because it pierced through many of the Theist warriors, its trajectory shifted, and it aimed at one of the rangers.
Luckily for the ranger, Suzy saw it from a mile away and stopped it with her hand, it didn’t do wonders for her left arm, but she managed to stop it before it killed the ranger, as well as those behind him.
Thank you, your arm, Madam Suzy!
Don’t worry about it, just help me heal it.
Suzy said.
That bastard’s spear skill is very powerful, I must stop him before it gets so dicey, he might own not just one spear, and I can see that he has a sword too.
Suzy thought as she analyzes the Auden’s Head from her position while getting her arm healed.
I didn’t know he’s a master Spearman, that’s something I need to be wary of!
Faro thought while fighting the Auden warriors.
After a few minutes, Suzy’s left arm is healed, she headed close to the Swordsmen behind the Shields.
Commander Faro! Inform me when the warriors have decreased to a low number!
Suzy shouted, telling Faro.
I got it! How many do you prefer!?
Faro shouted back, asking her.
A two-digit number should suffice! Hurry up!
Suzy shouted, answering his question while heading back.
Before she left, she received another spear from the Auden’s Head, but this time, she’s ready, she grabbed his spear with both her hands so it didn’t do much damage to her arms, he noticed that Faro and Suzy are talking so he took advantage of this.
This bastard!
Suzy thought, she got annoyed with him.
