The first Trial is always Difficult

The Dungeon that houses the Reinforcing Orb was supposed to be the Angus Tribe’s Trials Dungeon, but because Suzy needed the Reinforcing Orb, the Tribe Leader will be helping Suzy in this because she needs the orb for her Awakening.

I don’t know if your pride will want this, but I still need you to read this, I just need you to know about what’s inside this Dungeon, you don’t have to read everything if you want, just keep it with you if you need it.

The Tribe Leader told Suzy as she gave her the Angus Trials’ Book.

Suzy then took the book from the Tribe Leader, though she quickly breezed through the reading since she only needs to see the first page of a chapter and the table of contents, as well as the glossary at the end of the book.

I will keep this in my storage ring just in case, for now, I should enter the Dungeon now.

Suzy said, she then heads to the entrance of the Dungeon.

Faro is waiting for Suzy at the entrance.

Suzy.

Faro called her after seeing her approach the entrance.

Faro, you don’t have to go in with me.

Suzy told him after she reached him.

I know, it seems that dungeons like this are only for one person, it is called the Trials Dungeon, it would not make sense if there are 2 people inside, right?

Faro said, agreeing with her words.

Faro, I might die here, do you have something that you want to tell me before I head in?

Suzy asked him.

Hmm, if this is your wicked way for me to confess to you directly, then it is something else, please survive, beat this dungeon and escape safely with that orb, so that you can be the greatest warrior in Zao Thesis, I’ve loved you, Suzy, I always have, it is love at first sight so it’s something that can’t be removed in me or be forgotten, I know that much.

Faro explained his answer, telling her his feelings to her.

That’s so sweet, well; wait for my answer for when I actually return, okay? I want to show you that I can reciprocate your feelings with success with me, so that way, I might fall harder for you.

Suzy responded to his confession.

Though they kissed, it is just a quick one because they expect to see each other for a more intimate one.

Suzy then enters the Dungeon after the Tribe Leader opened it.

I’ll see you later, Suzy, I’ll be waiting and I’ll pray for your success.

Faro told her as she enters the Dungeon.

Suzy heard it and then waved at him while facing the Dungeon.

I’m glad he’s there to support me, physically and spiritually, I don’t think I have the confidence and power to do this without anyone’s support either in the frontlines or from the backlines, oh well, here goes nothing.

Suzy thought, she’s glad that she has support from him while entering the Dungeon.

Will she be okay, Leader?

Faro asked the Tribe Leader after she entered.

What’s your name again?

The Tribe Leader asked Faro.

I didn’t introduce myself?

Faro thought, asking himself.

He didn’t introduce himself to me.

The Tribe Leader thought, unknowingly answering Faro’s thoughts.

My name is Faro; I’m a Commander that is also a close friend of Suzy.

Faro introduced himself to the Tribe Leader.

She’s the strongest warrior that I’ve ever known, from the time she enters this Tribe, the time she left, and even now, I don’t know if there is someone that can defeat her because if there is, then it will be the end for Zao Thesis if that someone came and attacked the Continent, don’t worry about her.

The Tribe Leader told him.

I know, but since I’ve admired her the moment I laid my eyes upon her, I can’t help but worry, there’s still the fact that I believe in her abilities, I just can’t see myself not getting worried about her.

Faro responded, agreeing to her words, but still worrying for Suzy.

I don’t understand what you mean by “I laid my eyes upon her” I get it that it’s you loving her at first sight, but I don’t understand why that is a phrasing for love, your worries stem from your love for Suzy, that’s just love.

The Tribe Leader told him.

Please, God, I know I don’t pray much to you, and I don’t believe in you, but please, keep Suzy safe, and out of deathly doors.

Faro prayed in his thoughts.

Suzy then enters the first level of the Dungeon; the first level determines the defendants, the one who is on trial, capability to handle difficult situations, testing their own endurance.

The room has multiple packets of holes on each side of the room Suzy is in, and there are 4 series of challenges Suzy has to go through, there are heat waves, cold winds, high-powered winds, and there is a high pressured section that Suzy has to go through as the final challenge of the level.

Though the Tribe Leader didn’t give her any tips to finish the Trials Dungeon quickly, Suzy was given the book about the Dungeon, which basically means she can assess her way in the Dungeon safely than other defendants.

Suzy just needs to find a solution on how to get through a level rather than first knowing what the level is and what to do to finish it.

This room is something else, so the walls and the ceiling produce some sort of imitation of weather, whether it is heat or cold or anything else.

Suzy said to herself after entering the first level and reading the chapter about the first level in the book about the Dungeon.

She then stepped forward in the room after she was done assessing the first level, she then felt the area is very cold, dropping down to 4 degrees Celsius, she felt it instantly.

Luckily for me, I have a Heat sword, I can just hover it around me so that this room won’t freeze me to death.

Suzy thought as she brings out her Heat sword, have it activated, and float around her to heat her up.

And when she passed the first series of challenges, she immediately felt the heat around her; she felt an even hotter wave because she has her Heat sword hovering around her.

Suzy immediately put her Heat sword away and took out her Ice sword and had it constantly creating ice so that the temperature won’t increase to above 30 degrees Celsius.

The sword isn’t doing anything much, but at least it’s not above 30 degrees, gosh, I’m spoiled in the village and country.

Suzy shouted at herself, complaining how much she is spoiled in the Theist Country and Zion Village.

She then continues with moving, she then arrived at the third series of the level, the strong wind hit Suzy, pushing her back to the start with the wind’s force, luckily, Suzy immediately took her Ice sword and stabbed it to the ground so that she won’t fly back again, though half of her body was pushed to the heated area of the room, burning them as well. Still, she jumped forward again and healed her burns.

So there are also packets of holes in front as well, that’s very tacky, I will have to do some sort of mountain climbing in this room.

Suzy thought.

She then took out her Heat sword just to make sure if she will be pushed back again.

She then continued moving forward, but because of the extreme wind, she needs to climb to the final series of the level.

And after taking several minutes to move, she finally reached the final series of the level, but when she tried to stand up, she had a hard time, and just when she notices it, the gravity became intense and she wasn’t able to stand up.

What in the world!? I know I’ll have a hard time standing up, but I didn’t know it’ll be this difficult!

Suzy thought, she was surprised by the gravity’s intensity.

She still kept her sword so that she can move better, but she thinks that she might be better off crawling to the end of the level.

No! I can’t show that I will grovel just to get to the end!

Suzy thought.

I’m stronger than this!!!

Suzy then shouted as she pushes herself to the end of the level without crawling.

She used her Wind sword to push herself forward and upward so that she doesn’t get crushed down by gravity.

And after several minutes of struggling, she arrived at the end of the level, where the door to the next level was.

Now, I have to remember that…

Just as Suzy thought that, the room then flipped, the gravity moved to the entrance of the level.

But luckily for her, she has her Wind sword; she can stuck her sword and herself on the floor before she falls down to the start again because she remembered about this in the book of the Dungeon.

That’s so evil.

Suzy said after the room flip.

She then climbed up to the door to the next level, and after she enters, the gravity returned to normal.

Faro then followed the Tribe Leader outside the Dungeon since nighttime has arrived; she gave him a place to rest, and also a badge from the Tribe Leader so that the Tribal people won’t interrupt him and even talk to him, of course, Faro can still talk to the people if he initiated, though that is if the Tribal people will understand him.

You will be staying here, here is close to the Tribe’s Hall, where the Trials Dungeon is, so when something happened, you can just head there, right now, I think it’s best you rest because Suzy will definitely take a long time in the Dungeon since the Dungeon is big.

The Tribe Leader told him after taking him to the house he’ll stay in.

Thank you, Leader, though I don’t think I will be able to sleep without Suzy outside the Dungeon, I guess I’ll just meditate here and rest my energies.

Faro said.

I don’t understand that, but just be sure to rest, now, I will head back to the Hall, I’ll see you tomorrow, good night.

The Tribe Leader said, she then left Faro’s resting house.

Best of luck to you, Suzy, I will just have to meditate my energy so that tomorrow, when you need it, you can rest and I will guard you after you finished this Dungeon.

Faro thought, he then began his meditation.

So this next level is about guessing the hidden platform, if I fail to step on one, I will fall down, there aren’t any spikes nor anything below, I guess it’s something painful so I won’t try to fall since I could guess where the platform is, I have my weapons.

Suzy thought after finishing reading the book about this level.

She then took out one of her swords and floats it over her; she will then search for the platform by flying it around the barren space between the entrance of the level and the exit of the level, the entrance to the next level.

And she is able to finish this level quicker, in just a few minutes instead of a whole hour in the first level, and that is because that is just the start; the levels of the Dungeon will get harder than before.

I wonder if this pitfall is just a floor.

Suzy thought, she then sent her floating sword and sent it down to check what it is actually.

But when her sword reached the bottom of the pit, her sword dissipated and dusted.

Oh…

Suzy said after seeing her sword disappear.

I wasted 400 plus gold coins on that, that’s really annoying…

Suzy thought after her sword broke, annoyed by it.

She then just forgot about it and then heads to the next level of the Dungeon.

So there is someone inside the Dungeon of the Angus.

Yes, Leader, they said that she is finishing the Dungeon as quickly as she can, so what are your orders?

Get them all ready, we can’t let the Angus get that item, we need it for our Tribe, I will visit the surveillance as well, I want to grab hold of this myself so that I can see how powerful this is.

We’ve drained every last one of the precious treasures that can help us against the sea monsters, we need all the power we can get so that our Tribe and our Continent can survive.

Don’t lie to yourself; we just want our Tribe to survive because you know that the Sea Monsters are getting stronger.

Right, we are making tunnels out of this continent, so it won’t hurt for me to still be in denial.

Hahaha!! That’s the spirit, now, let’s see who this individual is trying the Angus Trials Dungeon.

Little did the Angus Tribe know, after they’ve sent Suzy in the dungeon, it caught the attention of one of the Tribe’s nemeses.

But little did their nemesis know that it’s Suzy that is in the Trials Dungeon.
