The moment I opened my eyes the next morning, my gaze automatically went to Philip's side of the bed. For a minute, I thought he just woke up early and was already taking a bath but when I realized it’s only been a day since he left, I couldn’t help but breathe out a disappointed sigh. I am painstakingly counting the days and so far it’s only been day 2. It’s hard to do but at the same time it somehow gives me something to look forward to. Just a few more days… he’ll be back before you know it, Alex.
Upon getting up from bed, I immediately grabbed my phone so I could check for messages. When I saw one from him, I excitedly pressed the message so I could read it.
