Prologue (Beginning)
Third Person POV
Oliver is currently staring at the sunrise. He stood there quietly, both hands in his jacket pocket.
He was jogging at the moment, but he stopped as he was distracted by the breathtaking sunrise in front of him.
His mouth smoked in the cold, causing his thick lenses to fog. He was still staring at it.
He smiled, as the light gradually appeared on his face.
A new day, a new beginning...
"Pft."
He stopped his gaze when he heard a faint laugh at his side. He turned around right away.
It was a woman with short hair and a hoodie who was smoking and arrogantly leaning on a motorcycle.
He was startled by what he saw. What a vicious woman.
His forehead furrowed as she stood leaning on the motor, she took another inhale of the cigarette and exhaled loudly then threw it somewhere.
While chuckling, she began to walk into him.
"What are you doing? Grinning like a fool. Are you reminiscing or something ?"
He simply stared at the woman; she is beautiful, but her acts and behavior were unladylike. She, too, glanced at him and examined him thoroughly from head to toe.
"Hello? I am talking here? Can you see me four eyes?" she teased him, grinning as she gorgeously combed her straight short hair.
The man's face turned sour, Who does she think she is?
The man, on the other hand, stayed silent while discreetly looking around. Because it is still early, there are only a few people here. He cursed silently. She looks like a gangster. I think she's dangerous.
He stopped in thought when he heard the woman laugh. Unbeknownst to him, he was staring at her beautiful laughter.
But he quickly gulped as that woman turned serious and marched directly towards him; he didn't realize he had taken a step back from the shock and anxiety he was having.
He locked his gaze on the woman standing just a few meters away. He steps back as the woman approaches him. She smells cigarette! It's awful!
Her face turned solemn, but there is a hint of blankness, and her eyes are lifeless as they stare into his.
He uneasily noticed her staring at him and observing his face. The next thing he knew, she had opened her mouth, and the words that came out made him shudder.
"Can you... kill me?"
