He woke up the morning after with a pounding headache.
"s**t!" He cursed when he tried to open his eyes but was hit by a sharp pain that ran from his eye sockets to the back of his head when the sunlight that seeped through his curtains met his vision.
He knew at least by the little peek he was able to make that he was indeed in his bedroom.
He remembered drinking last night with his friends. On the very few occasions that he did go out with them, last night was probably the most wasted he had ever been.
But that was not all he remembered.
A pair of brown captivating eyes, under thick long lashes, red luscious lips and their beautiful owner also came to mind. She was the most mesmerizing woman he has ever seen in his life.
He remembered kissing her, taking her home and having the most amazing night with her.
She must still be there. He tried once more to open his eyes if only to get another glimpse of her beauty.
He slowly sat up on his bed and scanned the room, noting he was still naked and their clothes were still scattered on the floor.
"She's still here." He smiled, the dimple on his left cheek sank as he did so.
Then he realized the shower in his bathroom was running which meant she must be in there.
"s**t! What should I do?" He panicked.
He grabbed his boxers from the floor beside the bed and quickly got up, wincing at the blow of pain in his head. He checked himself in the mirror, thanking his good genes that blessed him with an appealing look even with a hangover.
He almost jumped when his bathroom door opened and she stepped out with only his towel wrapped around her slender body.
Their eyes met and he found himself drowning in her brown orbs.
"Hi," she said.
"H-hi! Good morning." He smiled a little too widely.
He remembered she was pretty in the blue dress and red lipstick he saw her in last night but he realized she was ethereal with her still damp long brown hair, freshly clean face and glowing skin standing in front of him at that moment.
She smiled back then started picking up her clothes on the floor and putting them on, not minding that he was just there in the room watching her.
He felt his blood rush down south and his cheeks and ears burn red when she dropped the towel. He quickly turned his back to give her some privacy.
Privacy? Now? After what you did last night, Richards?
"Uhm... how about breakfast? Coffee?" He asked over his shoulder, still trying hard not to look at her.
"No, thanks." She answered. "Don't bother. I know you're busy..." She said and with a smirk added. "Ethan Richards."
That made him turn around and look at her, thankfully she was done getting dressed.
"Uhm... you probably think that because I'm a celebrity... that I uhm... I don't. It was my first time doing something like that. I mean not the s*x. I've had s*x. I meant the having s*x with a woman I just met. I don't do one night stands." He tried to explain and did an awful job at it.
"It doesn't matter. You don't have to explain." She shrugged and got her purse. "Anyway, I have to go. I have a class to teach in two hours."
Class? Is she a teacher? What does she teach? Damn it, Ethan. You didn't even know what she did before you did her. What happened to you last night?
He scolded himself but then again there really wasn't much conversation that happened between them last night. It was "Hi... Let's get out of here." then kissing and groping and getting naked then s*x, hot mind-blowing s*x.
"You look weirded out. Don't worry about me." She said and started walking to the door. "Thanks for last night."
His heart started racing and he was suddenly too scared to let her walk out of his door. There was something about her that told him she would be a significant part of his life like she was meant to be a part of it and he can't just let her go.
"Wait. When can I see you again? Can I call you?"
"Silly. You don't have my number. Don't bother. I'm just here for the s*x which was great by the way. I didn't expect cuddles after. Have a good day, Ethan Richards." She smiled and before he knew it, she was gone.
She was gone and he didn't even know her name.
"That's it? Have a good day?" He sighed and slumped on his bed. "I don't even know her name. Did she tell me last night? Shouldn't I remember that? f**k! You're a jerk, Ethan!"
He dropped with his back flat on the bed and stared at his ceiling with nothing else but the memories of the woman whose sweet pear and freesia scent still lingered on his sheets.
