The drumming of her heart was deafening in her ears, her eyes wide and awake as she cautiously looked at her surroundings. There was nothing in her immediate area that could bring her danger. But it did not take the fact she is indeed in a threatening situation. When did her monotonous life become like this? Paranoid and crazy as she is now, imagining that the whole world is against her and is conspiring to kill her as it deems fit. Perhaps she is right on her judgement or just plain mad. But she knows she cannot stay here anymore. Anytime now, another game of survival will run. And like every time it happens, she doesn't know if she will live for another day to hope and wish she will be released from his suffocating quagmire.

Dear reader, Whoever finds this piece of writing of mine,I have to clarify I am not a saint nor will I ever be. Circumstances have brought me here, to live in a world of my own making. Never was I a leader, but for my people I had led the way for us to survive. Even if it meant going to an alliance to the reason of my death in one of my past lives. It was a worthy transaction for all we stand for and what we want to protect. Each to our own benefits I guess. As I am writing this letter, we are facing the freaks that have changed all the lives we own. Any moment now, I will be out there again to kill to defend our own. No assurance of my life for another day. But still I will be there to lay my life for my people. A repentance of sorts, of my thoughtless wimps back in back in one of life. But for specifics I want to keep it to myself I cannot write more at the moment. My people are already calling me. Those undead are already in the walls as we speak. Hopefully I could live for another day to write more to you. With regards to who read this, Aila Justine, A hyena of the apocalypse
