Jordon Lancaster is at the peak of his editing career when he unintentionally becomes the only witness to the suicide of colleague Rhiannon Pierce. Though she was practically a stranger to him, her death upsets him for reasons he doesn't want to admit. When an angel offers him the chance to travel through time to change Rhiannon's fate, Jordon accepts it, unaware that in the process he will drastically alter his own life. Time travel has rules, however, and the more he journeys through the past and confronts the reality of his future, the more he finds himself wanting to break them.
