THE CEO MEMOIRISTUpdated at Aug 17, 2023, 09:58
Akshara, a daughter of Indian immigrant parents lives a life of no milestones to
celebrate, no achievement since she graduated college and she still lives with her
parents. Akshara was lucky enough to get herself an interview for a job she applied for
as a memoirist for a renowned wealthy CEO, Grimes Branagh, but the interview goes
awry and she is certain she didn't get the job only to increase the amount of
disappointment her father already had in her, only to be called days later for a follow-up
interview.
Akshara goes for the interview which was to hold in another location that was not the
company's building, which she later discovers to be Mr. Branagh's home and that
wasn't a follow-up interview but a filling in on the requirements of the job, she had gotten
the job.
But the role of the memoirist takes quite a dangerous and mysterious turn when Akshara
begins to notice anomalies and loopholes in Grimes' life. Anomalies and loopholes
lead her to discover what he actually is, an eternal, or so he calls himself. A being that
doesn't age, doesn't die and heals at an exponentially fast rate.
She is introduced to a world she didn't know existed and it almost consumed her. She
and Grimes fall in love with each other but she doesn't know if love was really worth her
life.
An old friend of Grimes, Tatlock, also an eternal, is frustrated by life as Grimes was and
they had been seeking a way to end their lives and they finally found it and were
planning to go out together. But Grimes' newfound need to tell his story and his new
reason to live, love, doesn't let him and this makes Tatlock sour hearted and he goes
after everything Grimes holds dear in a mission to make him feel what he feels, to make
him tired of life again.
Grimes and Akshara's love is put to the test and they have to come together to fight the
monster of contempt that is against them in this epic fantasy billionaire romance.
