Running might never solve problems, but when life throws you with stones every now and then, then we all feel like running away. some just more than others. It was Althea's dream to become the best fashion designer there is, but with to many life problems coming their way, she always finds herself running from them. Every time she thought she could catch her breath to take a break, then her life changes again. This girl keeps reliving her past to make herself relive her pain. It is like an addiction and she does not know how to stop or how to get over her past. She keeps going in from one relationship to the next to fill that void, but then she breaks the relationships when she sees the person she is with isn't what she wants. Then she meets this fantastic guy, but he too as a dark side that she could not get away from. Can he truly be the one to help her heal from her past? Or is he another trap she falls for? Only time can tell. She loves writing poetry, and with each day a memory of her past keeps flashing back. She is in her final year of school and yet she lives in a shelter and trying to make it day by day and moment by moment. Her way of getting her past of her chest is through essays in school. She might have a fictional character like princes and princesses but the story basically stays the same. She sometimes cuts herself because of depression that she has. The cutting turned into an addiction since she was in grade 7. Self harming helped through the pain. She does not mind feeling physical pain, but she can not handle emotional pain. With every step she takes to get over her past her present keeps throwing hardship on her. Will she ever get over her past or will it haunt her for all eternity?

This story is about a 30 year old female who is in prison for a crime of murdering her own mother. She was convicted at the age of 25. She has been in prison for 5 years already when a new Lawyer tries to fight for her innocents. The family believes she did not commit the crime. But she doesn't want to confirm nor deny if she truly did the crime. Is she the murderer? Could she really be the one? Or is she being set up? All the evidence points to her.
