Not much to say, I would love feedback. I\'m a Veteran, a mother, a wife, and my favorite title is grandmother. I love fantasy and love to read. New to writing but have fun. Thank you for reading my book and I always welcome comments 😊
A wolf just about to come of age gets thrown into a world where both her fairytale dreams and nightmares seem to collide and become reality. Meeting her mate, her grandmother, and her families enemy, all while finding out why her family had been on the run on her 18th birthday had her vowing to become strong and protect her little sister with everything she has. In a land full of shifters she has to decide who she can trust, who she can't, and why the Goddess has blessed and cursed her with gifts she doesn't quite understand how to use.
Excerpt from chapter 1: After the war, my parents where on the run, they never told me from what, but running was all I knew for the first half of my life. When I turned 9 my parents found an oasis of sorts and we settled down next to an emerald green lake. It was serenity in it purest firm, feed by small rivers of melted ancient glaciers. The lake was the color of deep emeralds feed by stream of blue that matched the clearest sky. The winters where hard here, cold, bitter, and at first very lonely. Over time other shifters would stumble in, they too, where on their own for one reason or another. My father never asked why they where alone or running, but he gave them a choice, he told them they could leave but for them to stay they had to take a blood oath of loyalty to my family and to keep the secret of the location of the emerald lake clan, promising it would never reach outsider ears. If they did not want to stay my father would insist on walking them to the boarder.
