Humans and Genies/Djinn lived in harmony once before. Until humans learned they could capture the soul of a Genies and Djinn in objects. The strength of the item limits the level of Genie or Djinn they are able to capture and for how long. The war between them is only getting worse. The kingdom is torn between two sons, one wronged by them and wanting them to be forced to serve humans forever, and the other for freedom and to live in peace with all creatures. The King has made a decree, the son that comes back with the strongest Genie/Djinn will take the crown. They both set out on their journeys determined to get the crown. Prince Alaric seeks help from a Djinn contact to hopefully come in contact with their camp protector. He hides his identity to reach their camp, but things are not as he seems when he gets there. Can he find the help he needs, or will his secrets destroy the bonds he makes.
