DISCIPLINEUpdated at Aug 17, 2025, 00:42
Discipline is a decision, I learnt from a voluntary organization that discipline is a choice and you can have discipline in each and everything you do.
Discipline is enduring for a better future, our world today lacks discipline in every sector, starting from the rulers, to the religious places, to the grassroot, which is our very own household and family, I observed that children nowadays no longer have respect which is a form of discipline,, even to their. elders, most children don't know how to greet their elders, some might say what is wrong with that?, greeting is the simplest form of respect, a child that doesn't like greeting, in Africa, or to be precise in lgbo land we take it that the child doesn't have good moral upbringing, and with this you can link it to the family, this aside, one of the reasons of this economic crisis we are facing now is due to lack of discipline, how? corruption,we are in a society that corruption is now a normal thing, even in the lowest of the lowest places there's corruption, every nook and cranny there is corruption, it is appalling, misuse of power just for personal gain, corrupt practices just for fame and power, this is indiscipline at it's peak, the saddest part is if we are not disciplined, it would affect the next generation. The meaning of discipline is vast and I would say the meaning of discipline depends on the group or individual.
