In my world of wolves there aren’t very many cases like my mate and i’s. See here isn’t like humans. We are fated to have another half and most of the time for reproductive reasons our case doesn’t happen. If it does then it’s uncommon and other wolves like to try to make fun and belittle us. Unless you are of higher rank no one would stand up for you. So for me it wasn’t much of an issue because in the pecking order I was already low. My parents are respected enough not so where everyone knows all they do for the pack but enough. Our life for the most part is comfortable. My brother Jake is trying to be a pack doctor like my father while I'd prefer farm work like my mother. I remember when I figured out I was one of the uncommon cases. My best friend, a witch, was giving me a hug, my head got all fuzzy for a second. I snapped out of it as fast as it came. Her perfume had overrun my senses. I told her, Lizzy about it and she gushed at me, seeing in her coven it didn’t matter who you like or who you were destined to. Magic made it a little more possible to do whatever.
