I will come quietly

This story is from just a few days ago.One day I was writing a story in my diary. Suddenly, a cat came near my window. It was meowing “meow-meow.”I lovingly called it “Pussy.” The cat, without any fear, came close to me and sat beside me for a few moments. After some time, it got up and walked away. I kept calling it, but it didn’t stop.Still, I followed it. After going a short distance, it stopped in front of a house. I thought maybe it would come back to me, but when I got closer, it went inside that house.I couldn’t stop myself and went inside after it.There were four people in that house. The cat went and sat beside a girl living there.I thought maybe this cat belonged to them. Then the girl saw me.She asked,“Who are you? What do you want?”I paused for a moment, thinking what to say. Then I replied,“I was passing by and felt thirsty. Can I get some water?”The girl said,“Sure! Wait, I’ll bring water.”She went to the kitchen and brought water.“Here, take it.”I kept thinking in my mind why I was lying like this. Lost in those thoughts, I became silent. Then the girl touched my hand and said,“Where are you lost?”I suddenly came back to reality. I took the water and drank it, even though I wasn’t thirsty. Then I left from there. After coming home, I kept thinking about that girl.“I wish I could meet her again.”She was so cute and innocent. Her lips were like roses, and her hair looked very beautiful on her face.At night, when I went to sleep, I was still thinking about her. Thinking like this, I fell asleep. Then in my dream—I saw the same cat again. I became very happy. It again did the same thing—sat beside me for a while and then walked away. I followed it again.I reached the same house, and there was that girl again. She laughed and said,“Again you came today? What do you want today?”I said,“Should I tell the truth or lie?”She said,“Tell the truth.”I said,“You are the one I like… I came to see you.”She laughed and said,“Are you crazy?”I smiled and said,“Yes… crazy in your love.”She said,“I am a very bad girl.”I said,“No problem, I love you.”She smiled and said,“Not now… I will think and tell you later.”At that moment, her grandmother came. She asked me,“Son, who are you?”Again I thought what to say, and I replied,“This cat was on the road, I came to drop it here.”The grandmother said,“Okay son. This cat is very dear to my granddaughter.”I asked,“What is your granddaughter’s name?”She said,“Priyanshi.”Hearing this, I became very happy. At least I got her name. Then I left from there happily. When I woke up in the morning, I felt sad. I realized it was all a dream. That girl was just the queen of my dreams.I got up and started getting ready for my work, because I had to write a social story against hatred in society.I freshened up. Mom made food and gave it to me. I ate and went to my room.I took my diary from the cupboard and started writing. I wrote hundreds of words about society.Suddenly, the same cat came to me in real life…and I started remembering my dream.I began to wonder—was this the same cat I saw in my dream? And then, just like in the dream, everything started happening in real life…Seeing all this, I became a little disturbed. Two days passed like this. I started secretly going to see that girl. One day, I got caught. I was peeking through her window when she came outside and saw me.But that girl was not simple either. She also used to secretly watch me, but never told anyone. When she caught me, she came directly to me and suddenly kissed me on the lips. I was completely shocked. Not only that, she immediately went back inside after kissing me. Her lipstick mark remained on my cheeks and lips. When I returned home, my younger sister Ankita saw me.She started teasing me and said,“Brother, tell me the truth… you went to meet your girlfriend, right?”She was secretly smiling because she had seen the lipstick marks on my face.I lied and said,“No silly, nothing like that.”Ankita said,“Don’t fool me. Look at yourself in the mirror once.”I quickly went to the mirror. When I saw my face, there really was a lipstick mark.Seeing this, I became very embarrassed and started hiding my face from my sister.Ankita laughed more and said,“Tell me the truth, what is your girlfriend’s name? Otherwise I will tell dad that you went to meet a girl.”Finally, I had to tell everything to Ankita. After hearing this, she became very happy and said,“I also want to meet my sister-in-law.”She insisted,“Brother, introduce me to her.”I said,“Okay, I will make you meet her. Don’t be stubborn.”Ankita said,“Okay, I really want to meet her.”Next day she got ready before me.She asked,“When will you get ready? You know where we have to go today, right?”I said,“I know, but if dad asks where we are going, what will we say?”Ankita said,“I will make an excuse.”I asked,“What excuse?”She said,“That we are going to a friend’s house for her birthday sur

love in travel

Once I was traveling by train. I had earphones in my ears and I was completely lost in the rhythm of songs. My eyes were closed and I was humming happily. The train stopped at a station, and a girl boarded from there and sat on the seat next to mine.I was enjoying my own world when suddenly she tapped me and called out to me. I opened my eyes and quickly looked around, confused about who was calling me. Then my eyes fell on that beautiful girl. The moment I saw her, I felt lost somewhere. She said to me, “What are you doing? Can’t you sit quietly? Are you just humming to yourself?”Even then, I kept getting lost in her eyes. Seeing my behavior, she called me a “mad person” and lightly tapped me on the cheek, saying, “Where are you lost?” That touch snapped me back to reality.I thought, why did she hit me? Then I started arguing with her, “Why did you hit me? Are you crazy? You raised your hand on a stranger like this—didn’t your family teach you manners?”Some people sitting nearby supported her and said, “Brother, it’s not her fault. You were staring at her continuously, so she tapped you to bring you back to your senses.” But I still insisted, “Even if you hit me, didn’t you think I might get hurt?”The girl said, “I only tapped you lightly. Why are you shouting so much?” This argument continued for a few minutes. Then I asked her, “Where are you going?”She told me she had run away from home. She said, “My family is forcing me to marry a boy of their choice, someone I don’t like.”I said, “Oh, I see.” Then I asked, “Do you like someone else?”She replied, “No, not like that. I just want a love marriage, and that too inter-caste. I want a boy who may or may not have a government job, but should have a pure heart.”I asked in surprise, “But why do you want this?”She said confidently, “It is my wish to marry in another caste. It is not possible in an arranged marriage, and my family will never agree.”I said, “That’s true. If your family finds out, they will never agree. So will you run away and get married?”She said, “Yes, absolutely. We will run away and get married, and after a few years we will go back home and convince them. After marriage, they will accept us.”I asked, “What if a boy is not ready to run away? Or what if you haven’t even found a boy yet—then how will you do a love marriage?”She said, “There are many boys. I will create an Instagram ID, upload my DP, and boys will message me themselves. I will talk to the one I like and marry him.”I said, “That will take a lot of time.”She said, “It may take time, but I will only marry by my choice.”I again asked, “But why do you specifically want to marry into another caste?”She replied seriously, “I want to marry outside my caste so that other girls get inspired. This can reduce hatred based on caste and religion, and people will start connecting with each other.”I said, “That’s a big thought! But is there no other way…?”She said, “No, there is no other way. I have thought a lot before leaving home.”I asked, “Okay, tell me where you are going and where you will stay.”She said, “My friend lives in Delhi. I will go there and stay at her house for a few days. And where are you going? What do you do?”I said, “I am also going to Delhi in search of work. I am a writer who writes small poems.”Then I said, “We have been talking all this time, but we still don’t even know each other’s names. May I know your name?”She said, “Of course, you can know my name. My name is Anshika. And may I know yours?”I said, “Of course! My name is STD, which is very popular.”She said, “Your name is very interesting.”I said, “Yes.”She asked, “Can you give me your number? I’ll contact you if needed.”I said, “Sure, note it down.” I gave her my number.Talking like this, we both reached Delhi. She went to her friend’s house, and I went to stay with my maternal uncle’s family for a few days. After reaching home, I bathed and freshened up. My uncle’s family included my cousins. Their names were Aditi, Aarohi, and a boy named Aaro. Aaro was the youngest, Aarohi was older, and Aditi was younger among the girls. We all ate together and then went to the market for a walk. After returning home, a few days passed like this. One day I went with my uncle to visit the Taj Mahal. Something happened there that left me thinking. The same girl I had met in the train appeared again—and without any hesitation, she ran towards me and hugged me.My uncle, aunt, and the children kept staring, wondering who this girl was hugging me like that.I gently separated her and said, “What are you doing? Have you gone mad?”She said, “Did you forget me? I am the same girl you met in the train.”Seeing this, my aunt signaled with her eyes, as if saying, “She looks nice—your match is perfect!”I couldn’t stop laughing at their gestures. My uncle was no less; he also agreed. My sisters even started calling her “bhabhi.”Moreover, my aunt took her number and invited her to our home. She agreed t
