In her Senior year of college, Stella is determined to get her head out of the dusty history books, make friends, go to some parties, and maybe lose her V-card. But the night she attends her first Halloween party, a dare goes wrong and she finds herself trapped in a cave, abandoned, drunk, and wearing very little. Through the darkness she tumbles into a cavern with a perfectly preserved pirate ship in it---and a perfectly alive crew. The Righteous has been stuck in the sea cave for 300 years, trapped by a witch's curse. For an unknown reason Stella's discovery free's the pirate ship, and as it releases into the bay with Stella upon it, she's shocked to find that it's not her little 2022 college town on the shore but the undeveloped woods of 1722. Captain Bram doesn't know what to do with the witch who has broken the amulet's curse. But until he figures out what powers she has, he makes her his captive---a captive that is awfully opinionated, entitled, and bewitching. Now free he has one mission, to return the amulet to the witch he'd stolen it from and free himself from her debt. That still leaves him with his captive, and after 300 years his crew has become superstitious radicals who want revenge and blood. He fears mutiny if he doesn't burn the witch. He fears heart ache if he does.
