I’m a 23 year old stay at home mom with a passion for cooking, romance, reading, and writing. I live in a small town in Illinois with my fiancé and daughter 6 1/2 hours away from my hometown in Oklahoma. A true southern girl at heart.
I will try to upload 1 chapter a day, as this is a work in progress. I will for sure upload on M/W/F. I am writing and uploading using my phone at the moment, and do not have an editor. This is the first story I have written like this, where I am posting as the story develops so let me know your thoughts!

Alexa Hastings was new to her father’s home town. It was a small town with a population of less than 10,000. Coming from her mother’s home with nothing but a few bags, and a newfound hatred for moving, she wasn’t sure what to expect. Leaving all of her friends and memories behind was hard, but she needed a new start. This would be good. At least, that’s what she kept telling herself over and over again on the flight to her new home. She was dreading a new school and promised herself this would be different. She wouldn’t let what happened back home follow her here. Or so she hoped.
