This story follows the lives of Raine and Axel. Raine is a mysterious young woman with a deadly secret that she cannot reveal to anyone. She lives a life on the run and dreams of a place she can call home and believes she has found this in the pack Orion Valley. However the return of their soon to be Alpha finds her on the run again. Axel returns to his pack to assume the title of Alpha. He finds his mate there but is cosumed with rage when he discovers she is a weak human; he has her thrown in the cells. He soon realises she is not a mere human, however it is too late as she has already escaped and run from him. But he is determined to find her, apologise, beg for forgiveness and have his mate by his side. Will they reunite? Will she forgive him? Or will Raine's secret destroy any hope they have?
