A decade of anguish and suffering has made me bitter, heartless and cold. My thin body barely escaped from the crutches of doom. I hid behind the trees, away from their line of vision. My mouth was set in a thin straight line, fist clenched and tears streaming down my face. The 10 year old me can only watch and sob quietly as they dragged my families body against the cold forest floor tainting the once evergreen grass with the color of death.
