“Power is something everyone craves, but they all seem to overlook a simple truth,” Grandpa said, his voice struggled above a whisper. “Knowledge is power, Clair. I hope you understand that?”
I looked at him and smiled. Grand pa’s grey hair was balding in the middle of his head but that didn't stop him from thinking deeply and speaking wise words out of nowhere.
“Certainly Grandpa.” I rolled my eyes, “you must agree with me that sentence has been thrown around, right?”
“My lovely girl, That's the issue. People undermine it's value just because the phrase is popular and that is exactly what makes them miss out.”
As his lips paled due to the blood which he was loosing. He fixed his gaze upon me, distinction bold in his gaze. And as the car caning crashing down the cliff, I felt his grip around my body tighten while I shut my eyes closed and held back a loud scream. I was terribly shaking and couldn't contain my scream any longer as we were trashed around by the vehicle in the middle of nowhere.
