CHAPTER ONE she laid on the bed with her palms placed on her face as tears run freely from them, her body shook due to her incessant cries. she reflected her life over the past few years and she knew she made a grevious mistake. she had rejected and neglected her parents teachings on Christian living and followed the path which she never thought she would. she wanted to feel among and even disowned her lovely parents, oh she wished the ground will open up and swallow her because to her she do not deserve to live."wasn't it better off if I never went to the university?" she thought as she remembered her friends who turned her into the neglected girl she is today.then she dwelled into the realm of flash back.*************Sonia was eagerly ready for the university as she beamed on the first day she was to depart from her home.she was an average heighted girl with beautiful , spotless light chocolate skin and light pink lips, she was indeed a beauty as every male who passes her stares at her in awe. well she was the only child of her parents and as she was told she came nine years after their marriage. well based on the history her parents were atheist and almost lived a carefree life. after going to different places for the fruit of the womb and the fake promises witch doctors made, they gave their life to Christ after a strong encounter with God and then they were blessed with the beautiful baby who is all grown up now.her parents dedicated their only child to the Lord and made sure to lead her to the path of Christ . she had been a zealous Christian since then and she strived to live a life that pleased God.at 18 she was offered admission to study business admin in the federal University of calaber, her state of origin. she had been elated since then. before now she had done the necessary things and paid for everything so the last thing is to start her University life to which she couldn't wait for. CHAPTER TWO Sonia hugged her parents as she refused to let go. they already boarded a bus for her to calaber and right now they were about to leave her to continue her journey."Sonia remember God in all you do and do not forsake the path you chose to follow"her dad said"also do not waste your life or mingle with bad friends, remember your life was dedicated to the Lord from the day you were conceived. focus on your studies and be of your best behaviour" her mother said as tears were glistening from her eyes."
