There's a war and humans are on the brink of extinction From a very young age, Karen had only herself to rely on and she became a purger to make sure she never needed anyone to protect her. parents died during an ambush by the vampires, and she only had the thought of revenge in her mind. so, trained very hard to become stronger. She found vowed to exterminate all vampires and end the war. She joined the purgers at the age of 9, the purgers are a group of people who fights against vampires when they attack the village. She hated the view of purgers because they waited for the vampire to attack before they fought back. She gave the purgers the idea of creating a group of purgers who head out to find and kill vampires outside the village. But Will kills both humans and vampires. Will was always on the run since when he was born, because he was half-breed. His father was killed because Quincy saw his act as a sin and his punishment was death, His mother was taking care of him ever since. No matter where they went they couldn't find peace because the villagers kept finding out about him so they had to move from village to village, till his mother was killed by one of the villages they stayed in. Before she died his mother had a dying wish: her wish was that he should treat vampires the same way, and end the war. Because of his anger what he heard was that he should kill humans and vampires. Will's past made him develop a prejudiced mindset towards both humans and vampires. He hates and kills both races. However, Will's past wasn't what he thought it was, and now to save humanity, Karen and Will's sworn enemies must team up.
