my God the devil and I main characters mid thirties Zach God young child about 7 years old the devil and angry landlord by the name of Damon evil a lot of and The story goes My God the devil and I Zach recently loses his mother and younger brother his mother had battled with cancer for four years and in those four years his younger brother James was in and out of prison drugs and girlfriends and an evil that he carried since early childhood in 2019 he took his life with suicide with the end of a rope he embarks on a journey to cross paths with a younger boy by the name of Eli was about 7 years old and he embarks on a relationship with the boy as far as a friend a confidant somebody that the child would be able to look up to in case of trying or needing times the younger child which would be played as God lives with his older brother the older brother has his own apartment so he lives with his older brother they recently lost their mother and father in a plane accident in Egypt they were scientists helping a project with some local archaeologists and so that entwines where Eli and his brother play into the whole apartment facade the devil which is played as game on evil he's the landlord of their apartment complex very prejudice honoring short with his communication tendencies to have outbursts of rage been like this for the last 7 years since he lost his wife prior to being a victim to a hit and run she was walking across the street in front of the apartment complex to the park where she had spent most of her days in the garden at the park or just being in the park cuz the park has a lot of significant value to it for self enlightenment it all pretty much takes place this surrounding scenery so the park has the best sunsets and sunrises in the whole town that's why they named the park 100 years prior sunset Park home of the Divine energy when the town was first established the medicine medicine man of the local native American tribe says there is a godly presence in the park and it seems it still carries the reputation of positive energy story goes in the direction to gaining an untaught faith for Zack and gaining it from Eli at the at the park while having a confrontation with the landlord earlier the earlier that day figured he would take his problem and his stress to the park to put the park reputation to the test and in the process ended up meeting Eli God and so goes the story my God the devil and I written by Zachary Taylor Upchurch
