Maxine and Lukas escape the war in the Philippines and meet Millie and Dion on there way to safety. The government sends them on a plane to Australia where they go into the foster care system before finding a family that is perfect for them. Millie and Lukas’ relationship grow stronger and Maxine starts to crush on Dion.
