Imani has always believed that a higher power had big plans for her. She just didn't realize how big those plans would be. Stuck between the veil of the living and dead and unable to recall certain memories surrounding her death and how to get back to the living world to her younger siblings Samuel and Ruth, she confides in the Reaper by the name of X, the one who was sent to relieve her soul. While the Reaper, through the mouths of the church she resided in, told of his skeletal figure and impending presences shrouded in lack robes, this one in front of her was more of a playful free spirit and much more beautiful than even the most ethereal of angels. The pull to eternal reprieve seems to grab hold of her with every passing day she stays in the limbo. And X is more than determined to ensure that her earth bound desires are put to rest so that she may pass on. Will she be able to save those she cherishes and seek justice to those that wished her dead, or will the arms of death be too much for her to resist?
