Averi is human, mostly. THe mostly being her family is a long line of powerful green witches that she failed to follow. She works in the city as an emissory, a glorified messenger girl between the different races living there. Then one day, she accidentally gets herself locked into a contract with a being far more powerful than herself. Why? So her mother stops bothering her about finding a partner for her sister's wedding. Somehow, things have just got a little more complicated than keeping her head down.
