After a dimensional rift in his world, Cervo Ignis, a young Romanian adult, finds out that he lives between the physical plane and Purgatory. This suppressed power makes him a potential host for Star Magik, an universal force that caused the Big-Bang. The lords of Xibalba (the Maya hell/purgatory) want Cervo’s powers so they can escape into the physical plane and destroy the earth. Another danger comes his way, The Black Blood Brotherhood, which need Star Magik in order to live because the sun kills them slowly. Such a team throws Cervo off his sanity. With the help of Ace Contremo, Cervo’s boyfriend, and Chloe Yong, Ace’s adopter sister, he fights the threats in hopes of destroying the evil. Cervo and Ace are madly in love, but The Supreme Stag Prince (Cervo’s hero name) has to let go of the codependency and become a man. An icon for the outcasts and LGBTQ+ people around the world, a selfless hero, a human being. The Black Blood Brotherhood and the lords of Xibalba work together to end Cervo but realise he cannot die. The sun is destroyed and Cervo uses his Star Magik to become the brightest star in the whole universe so the Earth doesn’t die, and most importantly, to make sure his love gets to see another day.
