I was separated from my family by a complete accident, and now I am countries away from them. In order to get back to them I have to sail across the ocean, make it to the mainland, and somehow find them. The only problem is getting onboard a ship that doesn't allow women aboard. Little did I know sneaking onto a ship would turn my life completely upside down, and in the worst possible way.

When I woke up the last thing I expected to hear was that the human kingdom was under attack and the only way to stop it was to marry the vampire king. The world around me began crumbling and I could hear myself begin to breath erratically. "Ebony, sweetie," a distressed voice calls out, "I know this isn't what we had planned, but for the sake of the kingdom baby you have to. None of us, including your father will make it out without you. Caspian is only demanding for you to seize fire. I'm so sorry baby," she almost wails. I just shake my head at my mom and take a deep, burning breath. "Well," I meet her eyes, "I have to go." As I say those words my breathing starts to shake and tears are falling down my eyes. Everyone knows how cruel and despicable Caspian is, the king of all Vampires. 'I just have to figure out a way to end this war, make him fall in love with me, and leave his Kingdom,' I think to myself. I enter the Kingdom in the dead of the night. I can hear screams and pleas of human people begging to spare their lives, 'I can't help them,' I think to myself, 'they're already across the border of the Human Kingdom in the Vampire Kingdom. My cramp and small carriage finally stops and I assume that we have made it to the castle. With one swift movement I am already up the steps and inside the castle. I look up at this man who smells mouth-watering. I actually believe drool begins to fall out of my mouth. He was mesmerizing to look at and I felt instant attraction, but not a pull of any kind. After a moment I notice that we stop and see the man that is carrying me is staring at someone else in front of us, I slowly turn my head to see another heart-stopping man looking at me. Out eyes meet and I can feel the little tingles all over my body, followed by the most heavenly smell. 'What is with the cologne here,' I think to myself.
