Lilac is an ordinary woman, with an ordinary job. That has some abilities that she can’t quite explain. All of that changes when she almost collides with a stranger. Star sweeps her up into what can only be described as a fairytale. Lilac finds herself at the center of a conflict between creatures that you read about in storybooks. She goes from art shows and negotiating sales to learning how to navigate her new life and manage abilities that she knew were abnormal but are now growing out of control.
