After the death of its king, a once-renowned kingdom finds its downfall and has its fate in the hands of its estranged prince who has lived in exile since his adolescence. One of the many mercenaries sent out to retrieve the true heir finally crosses paths with him and together they set out on the mission to recover his kingdom and take it back from the hands that have claimed it, while he discovers an unraveling love for his new, feisty travel companion.
