This tale follows twenty-three year old Gothalia Ignatius-Valdis who is hated for her délanocytes. As such, she's wanted by the Order of the Rukh. While, the Xzandian Aliens have deadlier plans for her. Gothalia never wanted to be a soldier. Instead, became one and not just any division the Centurion division, at the command of the Grand Elders. Where she meets Danteus, his team and the Crown Prince all of whom become her most unlikely allies. The Centurions are the Fire Reserve’s first and last line of defence.
