Romaith the fire-forged Prince of the Nusku tribe has spent much of eternity trapped in the body of a man. He is cursed by the witch whose lover he ate to wander earth craving for the touch of a woman and have his human heart be broken time and time again. To save his dying tribe he races against time to find the one destined to break his curse. Miriam, Romaith's latest bride has seen too many of his contracted brides die unable to handle the fiery force of his nightly passions. Her human tribe has sworn to marry their daughters to Romaith in exchange for power and wealth for centuries. She would rather die fighting her fate than fulfil the contract but Romaith has other plans for her. Is she the one destined to break his curse? Or will he be doomed to suffer another despair?
