Twenty-two-year-old and final-year university drama student Jacky Trevor knows the three reasons for why charismatic Cole Moore is off limits. Reason number one: he's her sister's boyfriend's brother. Reason number two: he's at least six years older and drives an Alfa Romeo. The third reason: He's her drama teacher. But a small gathering with friends for a drink up one weekend leads to a game of drunken dares, outrages voicemails and a hangover-Jacky has no memory of. But the illusion is only brief. She gets a phone call the following morning from Cole, and realises the line she has crossed. Jacky is determined to fix their friendship as it once was by keeping her secret safe, and the only way she can do that is to act her way out of the mess she made. But Cole has his own facade up that will dare Jacky to make or break their relationship and, more importantly, her heart.
