Claire helps Night treat his bullet wound when he enters her store distressed and injured or so she thinks. She can't stop thinking of him. She then finds herself being chased by people who put out a prize for her head. The vampire lord saves her and brings her to stay with them. She finds out that she is fated to both the vampire lord and the king of night in a dark disturbing bond of the gods. She struggles against the bond even though their string's are tied very tightly by a certain mischievous goddess and the guys seem to like the bond. Do they win her heart?......
