A young girl and her family move from the bustling City to a quaint harbor by the Sea. Monique the young main character has an insufferable sister Agatha and by every definition the cherry picked golden Child while our young main character Monique is doomed to be a victim of her step mothers and step sisters wrath. Monique's father is a weak man and has little to no protection to offer young Monique. The Seaside town offers a sort of comfort and Monique feels a connection to this place she can't quite explain. Life is hard as Monique struggles to stave off the attacks, her step mom and sister hurl at her. There is a mystery man on the beach that has his eyes on Monique. Monique's father has an inheritance that the Step mom is after the problem is nobody knows where exactly that is. Chad Ray is Monique's father's boss and he is a very rich man. Chad has an arrogant son that also has his eyes set on Monique. Monique picks up a summer job to get out of that toxic environment she calls home. She is hired by a kind older witch and her two roommates, there Monique discovers more about her true nature and the nature of the mystery man that watches her.
