I never understood mermaids, "sirena" to our language, "kataw" to some until I had my first encounter with one. People said my mind is just so imaginative like any normal 6 year old lass would think, but up until now at my 50s the encounter is still vividly written in the head. Was it just a product of my imagination? Are mermaids real? Are we all co-existing with some forms living under the deep water? Reminiscing gives me the chills. Every inch of the details I can describe her, the "sirena".
