In Austin, Texas, tragedy strikes the Rourke’s household. The once peaceful and reputable household is thrown into chaos as Mr Rourke is discovered dead, his death is said to be planned. The children set out to find out the cause of his death but they are warned by their mom to withdraw the investigation as it could bring more problems. Confusion sets in as their chef leaves home with no trace and Mrs Rourke acts in a different way. Quing withdraws from school because of low fundings and Ishmael is arrested for drug trafficking and killed in the prison in a fight that broke out. Mrs Rourke brings in a lover who assaults Quing and arranges a contract marriage inorder to keep her away from home and saves Mr Rourke company. Quing flees home and is picked by a Mafia who offers to help her in her plans of revenge. The killers of Mr Rourke and son are revealed and Mrs Rourke is discovered to be Lucille, a chef in the household and the true Mrs Rourke is in her custody. The Rourke’s family is once again united as Mrs Rourke is rescued and the killers are brought to book. Quing marries Liam as she finds out she’s pregnant.
