Shelly is a 35 year old widowed single mother who prides herself on her independence. In her late teens and early twenties, Shelly and her friends knew how to have a good time. While they all kept in touch, living at a distance meant they rarely got together, and as they have aged, most of them have mellowed. Shelly’s friend Fisher recently moved back from Australia with his new Aussie bride in tow and has convinced his closest friends, Shelly included, to rent a cottage on a small Muskoka lake for a week. Leaving her daughter with her parents for a week, Shelly heads on vacation with her friends. The week promises a walk down memory lane and Shelly is determined to avoid her first love, Casey, and enjoy herself. Sometimes, life has other plans.
