I love reading, and have ever since I learned to read on my own. Reading has been at times a sanctuary for me, literally and figuratively. It helped me get through some of the darkest parts of my life, allowing me a escape mentally, and a place to imagine good things were possible. It gave me hope, when I thought I had none, and perspective when I desperately needed it. While extricating myself from some unhealthy relationships, and learning to embrace my own interests, Smut saved me, and gave me the chance to embrace stability in my life, and still find excitement!
