Some bonds are fated. Others are forged in fire. But can even True Mates survive destiny? Zelena is no stranger to pain. Still reeling from a harrowing kidnapping and the weight of profound loss, the only light in her world is the life growing inside her—a reminder that even in darkness, hope can bloom. But when a long-buried truth emerges—that her birth mother is alive and carrying a world of secrets with her—the joy of family is tangled with feelings of betrayal. As Zelena struggles to forgive the past, she must decide if opening her heart is worth the risk… or if some wounds can never truly heal. Meanwhile, Gunner is unravelling. Haunted by Cole’s death and battling the darkness that threatens to consume him, he makes a gut-wrenching choice—one that could save his soul or destroy everything he holds dear. As he walks a perilous new path, one thing becomes clear: love alone may not be enough to hold him and Zelena together. Far from the safety of the Tri-Moon pack, another story brews in silence. Whiskey—fierce, broken, and born of darkness—has lived a life of violence and vengeance. But when an unexpected encounter shakes the foundations of everything she believes, her lone mission takes a turn that could alter the fate of all Were-kind. As destinies entwine and ancient prophecies close in, Zelena must summon every last ounce of strength for one final stand. The future of her pack—and the love she’s fought so hard to protect—hangs in the balance. In a world where love is power and fate is merciless, can the True Mates rewrite their ending… or are they doomed to be torn apart forever? **************************************** Excerpt ******Warning - Mature Content****** I walked up the steps of a small hut and pushed open the door. I stood in the doorway and closed my eyes, letting my other senses take control. I could hear a single heartbeat, thumping erratically from inside the small home. Then, I lifted my nose and sniffed. A male, only a young one, his wolf hasn’t been born yet. I followed the scent and the sound of his fear filled heartbeat to a bedroom. I love the chase, the hunt. Evoking fear in others is my happy drug. “I know you’re in here, why don’t you come out and play” I said with a cheery tone. The sound of his heartbeat accelerated, I turned my head to the source of the sound. A small wooden wardrobe, sat beside a single bed with a blue bedspread. I walked over to the wardrobe and knocked twice. “Come out, come out, wherever you are" I sung and pulled the door open and flung back the coats hanging inside. “Gotcha!” I laughed. The boy was curled into a ball, pressing himself into the back of the cupboard. He cried out and tried to run past me, but I gripped his arm and knelt down in front of him so that we were at eye level. “Tsk, tsk, tsk” I clicked my tongue as I waved my finger back and forth in his face. The boy was crying and struggling in my hold, but he was not match for me. “Where is the Triple Goddess, little boy?" “I don’t know" he wailed. I huffed and grabbed both of his shoulders. The tips of my nails dug into his skin, and he screamed and struggled even more. “You wouldn’t lie to me, would you?” I asked him sternly. He stared at me blankly with tears streaming down his young face. Judging by the stupid look on his face, the little shit doesn’t understand English. “Don’t lie to me" I growled at him and flashed my fangs. “I don’t know" the boy cried again and continued to struggle in my grasp. I exhaled an exasperated breath and frowned at him. What a waste of my time this turned out to be. “Wrong answer" I sighed. I sucked in a lung full of air, drawing the air from the boy’s lungs. He choaked and gasped for air, but there was none left for him to breathe. After a minute of gaging and thrashing, the boy’s body fell limp to the floor. I stood up and looked down at the dead boy. I wiped his blood from my hands onto my pants and scoffed. Disgusting maggot. “Onto the next” I said to myself as I stepped over the boy's lifeless body.

The Devil's Broken Doll

Adelaide should have died on Selection Night. Instead, the Devil carried her across the veil—bleeding, furious, and burning with magic she shouldn’t possess. They're bonded, like it or not. Her power can destabilise his realm. His desire threatens to consume them all. As Hell twists and reshapes itself around her presence, one truth becomes impossible to ignore: Adelaide isn’t just his chosen. She’s the spark that could remake the underworld… or rule it. If she survives him long enough to claim the crown. ****Excerpt**** “You see yourself as ordinary,” he said softly. “But entire worlds have crumbled and come apart for far less than a woman of your beauty.” He pushed his horn further again, filling her another inch. Her flame flared white-hot behind her ribs. Begging, pleading, clawing. “That’s it, my little whore. You like that, don’t you?” he preened against the corner of her mouth. His voice hit her harder than the horn. Dirty, cruel, worshipful. The word whore sent heat spiralling down her spine, making her clench around the invasion. She hated the word. She loved how he said it. “Please…” She started. He squeezed her throat, cutting off the rest of her words. Her breath hitched violently at the pressure, but she surrendered to the feeling. “Unless you are about to beg me to fuck your ass harder with this horn, I don’t want to hear how you can’t take any more.” He growled, low and threatening. A wave of want crashed into her so hard she whimpered. Adelaide should have been scared. In a way, she was. It wasn’t fear that made her heart pound, it was the terrifying realisation that she wanted exactly what he demanded. She wanted to feel the thickness of his horn deep inside her, wanted the stretch, the pain, the pleasure. She wanted all of what she knew he could give her. She leaned her head back to run her tongue over the seam of his lips. “Fuck me harder.” She said softly, the words barely a whisper. They carried the desperation, surrender, hunger, devotion, need. Her voice trembled with the weight of what she was giving him. Of what she was asking him to do to her. He growled. The sound vibrated through her, deep and possessive.

As their paths intertwine with Zelena’s, destiny draws them toward a reckoning that will unite allies from distant lands and ignite a war that could reshape their world forever. With traitors in the shadows, a stranger weaving temptation, and an ancient bond of True Mates at risk, Zelena must decide whether to embrace the darkness rising within her or defy it—knowing that either choice could doom generations to come. In a realm where gods walk unseen and hope itself hangs by a thread, one Luna’s decision will determine the fate of all Were kind. **************************************** Excerpt ******Warning - Mature Content****** “You will either give yourself to me willingly, or I will take you by force” he hissed venomously. I dug my fingertips into the earth, if I didn’t, I would swipe out and slap his stupid smug face. I lowered my head, narrowed my eyes, and smiled. He seemed confused by my smile, his head tipped to the side and the corner of his lip quirked up. “In your fucking dreams” I snickered. With that I flung my arm out, sending him flying back and colliding with a tree. He jumped back to his feet, with one hand on the ground and his canines extended. I let the power flow through my body and made myself weightless. I lifted myself up and stayed hanging just inches from the ground. I moved my hands and positioned them in front of me, with my fingers directed at my target. The blue sparks that have recently been appearing with the use of my power were now gone. In their place, were black whisps of smoke, twisting and twirling around my fingers, like alien tentacles. The darkness has control now. Not just of my power, but of my heart too. Good. Let's see how he likes this.

He kicked me in the ribs and sent me flying back across the floor. I landed hard on my side and quickly tried to move away again.  “I didn’t” I coughed, gasping for air.  I felt as though my chest had caved in, I couldn’t breathe. I thought I was about to vomit when Hank grabbed my hair and lifted my head. CRACK! It felt like my eye had exploded inside my skull when he punched me in the face.
