Healing Through Faith
Updated at May 27, 2026, 06:41
Ama was a young girl who always loved school, but one day she fell very ill. It started as a simple fever, but it grew worse each day until she could no longer sit up or eat well. Her parents rushed her to the hospital, and the doctors did everything they could. She was given medications, injections, and stayed under close care, but her condition did not improve quickly. At home, her family was broken-hearted. The bills were rising, and hope was fading. Her mother cried every night, but her grandmother always gathered the family and said, “God is still the best doctor, and prayer is still the best medicine.”Every evening, they prayed beside Ama’s bed, asking God for healing and strength. Even when things looked bad, they never stopped believing. One night, Ama held her mother’s hand weakly and whispered, “I can feel peace.” From that day, her condition slowly began to change. She started eating small meals, then sitting up, and later walking again. The doctors were surprised at her recovery and called it a strong response to treatment. But Ama’s family knew there was more to it. They believed it was God’s healing power combined with medical care. From that day, they never stopped trusting both medicine and faith, always remembering that hope and prayer can bring light even in the darkest times.
