Emilia Clarke, a struggling artist, is attempting to keep her deceased mother’s art gallery from closing down due to losses. She comes into contact with Asher Blackwood, a strong public figure with business empire worth billions but a secretive personal life. Asher puts forth a radical suggestion to their issues: a marriage of convenience. This is, for Emilia, a means of securing monetory funds to rescue her gallery. For Asher, it means sealing his deal with extremely conservative investors who prefer family-oriented image. However, as their passion and intensity grows, so do the obstacles: adversaries, family expectations and the concerns of betrayal threaten to tear them apart. It is up to Emilia whether she believes that Asher has the penchant to keep her heart safe or will their realities remain too far apart to ever completely converge.
