Deep in the woods lurks the mysterious fae folk who protect the forest and all its inhabitants. One creature doesn’t appear to belong there but stays and keeps to himself mostly thus the forest calls him the dark one. Curiosity calls upon the fairy princess Astrid to find and befriend the dark one Alex. Though she is cautious and fearful they soon find that they share much similarities including the inability to stay away from each other. What starts as a slow growing friendship and playful teasing turns into a passion neither can deny. But can two different creatures really ever stay together? Can they learn to love their differences or will they be pushed apart by the secrets of the forest? Or perhaps the beating of one’s heart will be so entwined there really will be no end.
