As the school bus rattled down the dusty road towards the unfamiliar brick building, Emily's heart beat faster with each passing moment. Today was her first day at a new school, and she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that had settled deep in her chest. As she climbed the steps of the school bus and made her way towards the front doors, she couldn't help but wonder if she would ever find a place where she truly belonged. And little did she know, that on this very first day of school, she would meet the boy who would break her heart in the most bittersweet way possible.
