Ward Wood is born into a city of crime, where the government teams up with the organised crime society to impoverish the citizens. His father loses his job as a result of harmful government policies and being broke, leaves the city to live in the woods. There in the woods, ward encounters a clan who teaches him special abilities of archery, and sends him on his first mission as the Red hood - to save Jack Rossland and his city!
