Updated at Nov 11, 2024, 23:01
For as long as she can remember, Emiley has led a life of luxury, her every whim catered to by the domestic staff in her father’s vast estate. She grew up treating them with indifference, sometimes with outright disdain, too absorbed in her privileged world to notice their humanity. Her father, a powerful businessman, has always insisted on absolute loyalty and respect from those who work for him and so, despite her attitude, no one dares challenge Emiley. But that begins to change when Tony arrives, a new employee hired to work on the grounds. Tony is different from the rest, he’s smart, sincere, and not afraid to stand up for himself when Emiley’s behavior goes too far. Slowly, Emiley finds herself captivated by his strength and warmth. The more time they spend together, the more she sees her life and herself through a new lens. And as their unexpected connection deepens, Emiley must confront the parts of herself she had tried to ignore for so long. In falling for the very person she once hated, Emiley may just discover that love can rewrite everything she thought she knew about family, loyalty, and her own heart.
