None of Xavier’s powers works on Raven as he finds out she’s the Lead Alpha for not just her clan but for every werewolf kingdom.
Raven’s mother’s plans of smuggling weaponry from Drathmor to leave them defenseless fails. Raven and Xavier hids their developing feelings for each other as they know it is a curse for them to mate. Raven knows she is married to Xavier for her mothers selfish gain and Xavier knows he is married to her for exact revenge.
The ancient prophecy of the Wounded Seer is coming to reality as Xavier hides the truth of Raven being the Lead Alpha. In this prophecy, the Lead Alpha has to be sacrificed to redeem all the lands of all the kingdoms, both werewolves, vampires and mortals.
Xavier is captured and Raven discovers the bitter truth of her being the Lead Alpha and her mother’s sour plan of destroying the kingdom she married her into.
She also discovers she is pregnant with a baby for Xavier which is forbidden right from the creation of the kingdoms.
Amidst the banter, her Lead Alpha abilities begin to manifest much to the surprise of everyone present and she is captured and locked up in the same dungeon as her husband.
Her elder sister had killed Xavier’s father. Her mother’s army, already long prepared for the moment, marched out to Drathmor and began to take over the kingdom. Raven is sacrificed on the night of the blood moon by her mother and sisters. On the night of their celebration Raven is reborn because of the growing Vampire child inside of her. She takes revenge on her killers and finds out her husband whom she had begun to generate feelings for is now married to her sister and stripped of his vampire abilities.
