“Say it, Anna,”
I swallowed hard, goosebumps prickling my skin as his breath grazed my ear. His voice was rough. Raw. Hungry in a way that made my knees weak.
My back pressed against the wall, but I couldn't put any more distance between us. I was trapped, pinned by those amber eyes that seemed to see right through me.
I bit my lip as his fingers slid beneath my skirt, ghosting over my sensitive bud.
“Tell me you want me to fuck you.”
My heart skipped a beat, and when I didn't answer, his fingers thrust into me, forcing a sound from my throat.
He chuckled darkly, his tongue sliding against my neck. “We’ll see how long you stay silent for.”
I wanted to speak, but my mind was blank with pleasure. Or maybe I was curious to see what he would do to me?
How could I possibly tell the devil I didn't crave his fire?
The night I met Jayden Rivers was never meant to happen. I was meant to be broken, sold by my father to satisfy a business investor. I wanted to do it for the sake of the person I cared about the most, but I couldn't go through with it.
Instead, I ran.
Then I ended up in the arms of a stranger with amber eyes. That was all he was meant to be. A stranger, but he claimed by body in a way no one did.
It was just a one-night stand, but he ended up becoming my salvation.
Because Jayden wasn’t just any man. He was power wrapped in danger—a billionaire who ruled the city by day, and a mafia lord by night.
Everything changed when he stopped my forced wedding. I thought he’d saved me, but his gratitude came with a condition.
I became his son’s nanny, but I ended up craving a man far from my reach. But little did I know that he felt the same way.
Every look, every touch, every whispered command burned away my fear and replaced it with something darker. Obsession. Lust. A hunger I didn’t know I could feel.
He said I reminded him of someone. Her.
The woman whose name he moaned when his lips were on mine.
But the cruelest twist?
I wanted him to claim more than just my body, but my heart as well.
Jayden Rivers doesn't do love. And I was determined to change that.
He was my savior. My sin. And one day, he’ll be my ruin.
