The god of chaos, Zha\\\'ak, betrayed his Circle when he taught his worshippers how to create a Bloodspace. He descended into the mortal realm (earth) on the night of the planetary alignment through the Bloodspace and rained terror and chaos unto the world. The gods of Circle set out to stop him, they chose a champion with the ability to possess and control the demon Gatekeeper with an especially made ring, the Ring of Circle. True to its purpose, the demon Gatekeeper fulfilled his duty and banished Zha\\\'ak from the earth. To avoid misuse of the Ring\\\'s power, the gods of Circle called home their weapon as well as their champion; to be reincarnated should the god of chaos return on the next planetary alignment. For 500 years, the earth remains undisturbed but with the alignment of the planets, the dimensional walls slacked, and Zha\\\'ak followers, the Downworlders - a cult of witches, vampires, and werewolves - prepare for the ritual to create the Bloodspace. And like the gods of Circle have always done, they released the demon Gatekeeper alongside the Ring of Circle into the world in other to find its Lord\\\'s reincarnation.
