Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado still contains some private land. Gran owns a parcel containing her home, small ranch and Colorado River access. Her plan is to transfer title to me, her heir, and live there for the remainder of her life as my tenant. The National Park Service has issued an eviction notice to Gran citing Eminent Domain. She has been given 90 days to vacate and has asked me to attend a meeting on the property with her Attorney. When I arrive, I'm greeted by both, and also a handsome park ranger, a friend of Gran's who seems to have chosen an inconvenient time to visit, or, maybe his visit was planned by my meddling grandmother.
