Siara lives with her alcoholic and gambling father, Titus, enduring his abuse while working odd jobs to pay for her mother's medical treatment.  Inciting IncidentTitus gambles away the money Siara saved for her mother’s treatment, leaving her desperate. She overhears him discussing a lucrative new website and, using her outdated laptop, successfully hacks into it, stealing a sum of money.  Dante, alerted to the breach in his highly secure system, is furious. After a relentless search, he is shocked to find the perpetrator is a mere, struggling girl with no formal training. He tracks her, initially for revenge, but grows increasingly fascinated. Eventually, he corners her and offers an ultimatum: become his personal assistant or lose everything—including her mother’s life. With no other choice, and secretly relieved to escape her father, Siara agrees.
